28/12/2017 Looking forward to 2018Classes resume the second week of January:
We are delighted to be part to the Hertfordshire Year of Physical Activity and look forward to a year of fun and fitness! 22/12/2017 Season's greetingsThe schools have broken up, offices have closed and people are doing their last minute shopping for gifts, fruit and vegtables, bread and milk with long sell by dates! Thank you all for clicking into my web site and very special thanks to all of my class participants for their support, friendship, smiles and singing voices! I look forward to catching up with you all in 2018. Wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year It is cold outside and it is beginning to get dark.
You are all snuggled in your lounge wear with a warm mug of tea and several dunking biscuits. You SHOULD get up and go for a brisk walk before the street lights come on or get in the car to drive to the gym before the football finishes and it is swamped by the football fans working off their half time refreshments. You could go into the garden and tidy up a corner or put away your summer clothes that have been lying on the spare bed. You could rotate your shoes so you winter footwear is within easy reach...checking the wellingtons are still OK. You mind wanders to anti freeze for the car and where you put the super efficient ice scraper. BUT you don't...today is your day to rest your brain, to indulge in bottomless mugs of tea and watch the darkness slink in and the street lights and house lights practice their Christmas sparkle. You allow yourself to be entertained by the sports channel, a fair price for watching Strictly in peace and quiet. Don't feel guilty as when you wake up you will have all day to be active and get all of those jobs done and before you know it Monday morning will be knocking at the door and your week will start all over again. Enjoy your day and if it includes a few hours doing nothing then that is fine as we all need time to recharge our batteries. |
