Being able to adapt to the audience is essential.
Delivering a class is more than working to a lesson plan.

For over 25 years, I have helped older adults enjoy the benefits of movement, exercise and social connection.
My classes are designed to help people maintain mobility, confidence and independence, regardless of their previous experience or current fitness level.

I believe effective teaching starts with the people in the room. Rather than expecting participants to adapt to a programme, I adapt movement to meet individual needs, creating welcoming and supportive classes where everyone can take part with confidence.

As the first practitioner to be awarded Chartered Senior Practitioner status in Group Exercise and Physical Activity and  Health, I combine extensive practical experience with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Whether you're returning to exercise after a break, managing a health condition, or simply want to keep moving, my aim is the same: to help you move well, feel strong and enjoy life more.

As well as teaching classes, I use my experience from the church hall floor to promote movement and dance within the physical activity sector. Click here to read more about my journey from the church hall floor to the boardroom.
